Rwanda, another African nation investing heavily in conference tourism infrastructure, has seen significant growth in its tourism sector. These examples highlight the importance of strategic investment and collaboration in attracting international events and boosting tourism revenue.

While Ethiopia's tourism sector has faced challenges related to infrastructure, service quality, and promotion, the government is actively addressing these issues.
