An all-Airbus operator, Yemen Airways is gradually rebuilding its network, which has been disrupted by several years of fratricidal war. The 51/49 joint venture between the Yemeni and Saudi Arabian states wants to regain its market share in the Horn of Africa, where it was very present in the past.
