Sierra Leone hires Turkey's SUMMA Airports to carry out first airport certification

Since the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) took office in 1988, Freetown International Airport (FNA), the country's only international hub, has never been certified.  This has affected the credibility, safety and security of flight operations at the airport. The new manager, SUMMA Airports, wants to change this.
