Madagascar seeks bids to repair railway infrastructure after tropical storm ANA
The government of Madagascar has secured funding from the World Bank for the Project for Sustainable Development of the Road Sector (PDDR) and intends to use a portion of the proceeds to pay for the repair of damages to railway infrastructure caused by tropical depression ANA.
The Project for Transport Connectivity Support (PACT) is responsible for implementing the contingency emergency response component (CERC) of the PDDR and is seeking closed bids from eligible bidders to carry out the repairs on the TCE and MLA lines.
The procedure will be conducted by national competition through a request for quotation (DC), and all eligible bidders can participate. The deadline has been extended to April 11, 2023.
