Cameroon Express Train and new link to Link Mbalam with Port of Kribi

According to the Ministry of Transport in Cameroon, the Minister has confirmed that the Douala-Yaoundé express train will officially resume operations on July 1, 2021, This news follows the recently held special session of the interministerial Committee for Rail Infrastructure and the Passenger Transport Committee. Two daily trains departing from Douala (06h00) and Yaoundé (14h30) will serve, both outward and return, the stations of Edéa, Messondo, Éséka, Makak and Ngoumou.
Mou for the construction of the railway connecting Mbalam to the port of Kribi to be signed
This week the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development will proceed on Friday, June 25, 2021, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of a railway line connecting Mbalam to the Port of Kribi, with the Partners Austino Resources Group Ltd and Bestway Finance Ltd.
